Prince Tribute

Earlier this year, the singer-songwriter Prince passed away. He was found in an elevator but was unable to be revived. Yet, his untimely death is not how people will remember him, but rather by his impact on the music industry. Similar to Micheal Jackson, Prince was known for his pop music. His career was full of many accomplishments including winning 7 Grammys, a Golden Globe Award, an Academy Award, selling over 100 million records, and even getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Not only did he write hit songs for himself but he also did so for others. Some of Princes most popular songs include “Little Red Corvette,” “When Doves Cry,” and probably his most iconic song “Purple Rain.” After the public was notified about his passing, people bought thousands of copies of his songs in honor and remembrance of his legacy. Many of his songs took the spots for the top songs on the iTunes charts. Even though Prince passed away, his legacy will still remain through the songs he has left behind for people to enjoy for generations to come.
