Everyone needs some fun DIY Christmas decorations to spruce up the holiday times in their home! Here are a few crafts to do this season.

  1. Christmas Trees!  What you’ll need:
  • Styrofoam cone
  • Green wire

How to:

1.Wrap the wire over the foam.

2. Layer the entire cone with wire at least twice.

2.  Festive Pine Cones

What you’ll need:

  • Pine cones- store bought or from outside
  • Spray paint (we used blue and white)

Shake the can of spray paint

Paint the pine cones. Do this outside or in a well-ventilated area. We used a plywood board as a drop-cloth.

3.  Snowmen Light Bulbs

What you’ll need:

  • Light bulbs
  • Spray paint
  • Buttons
  • Black paint
  • Hot glue
  • Fabric for a scarf

1.Spray paint the light bulbs. Or purchase opaque, white bulbs. 2. Paint on the face with black paint.

Cut out the scarf and get the buttons ready

Glue on the scarf and buttons with a hot glue gun. (Be careful not to burn your fingers!)

Let it dry

These cute snowmen can be used as ornaments or just as decorations around your room. Note: do not use these as actual light bulbs!
