We asked junior Jillian Riebe what her goals were heading into this season. She exclaimed, “My goals are to improve my dives as well as improve my scores. I also hope to make it to post season and do good in it. I also want to create a lot of good memories with my teammates and have a fun filled season.”
Senior Flynn Meyer has some great news for what we can expect this season from the girls. She confidently said, “I think that we are a tight knit group of girls that will perform well enough for some of us to go further than Sectionals this year, and I can’t wait. We have so much fun in and out of practice and that’s what I really think makes us excited to push and support each other for this upcoming season.”
Freshman Mallory Czar has loads of passion for girls diving and this is why she joined. She said, “I joined the Lincoln-Way Central girls diving team because I wanted to be involved within the school. I enjoy stepping outside my comfort zone. I have a background in gymnastics, so I was very excited to use those skills in the water. The friendships that I have already made throughout the past four weeks are better than I could have ever asked for.”
The girls dive team is in full swing, and we cannot wait to see how far they go. Lincoln-way Central is in good hands with this group of girls!
