Sophomore and golfer Ryan Nolan wishes to spend more time golfing with his dad this upcoming New Year.
Olivia Gianetta, junior and varsity softball player, states “to try not to worry so much about the small things in life and not be so particular about certain things!”
Junior Samantha Mitchell says that she hopes to stress out less in the upcoming year.
Central alumni and 2015 salutatorian Maddie McLaughlin is determined to run a half marathon during 2016.
Robert Dedo, central senior and cross country runner, wants to get in better shape this year.
Co-founder of the Adventure Challenge Club and junior, Jacob Jablonski, is going to work on being more “open” and less reserved around people in the New Year.
Carlos Ferran-Heredia, junior Mathlete at Central, has hopes that in the coming year he will be more outgoing and not have regrets.
English teacher Mrs. Vaculik says that although she doesn’t have any new resolutions for this year, she has been successful in keeping up a past resolution of drinking at least 60 oz of water every day.
Emily Shepard, Chamber singer and Central junior, wants to do more things that she has never done this year. She also strives to be happier in her own skin.
Claire Gruenberg, member of the varsity bowling team jokingly states, “My last new year resolution was to learn the country line dance from Footloose, and this year’s resolution is to become a YouTube star by making tutorials of country line dance.”
Whether it’s trying to become more social, jumping on the health wagon, or just worrying less over the little things the new year means a “new you.” In 2016, the Lincoln-Way Central family shows its determination in their high-stake goals and resolutions.
