Shadow and Bone features 8 thrilling episodes that will keep you one the edge of your seat while watching! The show does a wonderful job developing its plot and characters while also making sure to keep you engaged. The show starts off with a teenage girl named Alina Starkov, a mapmaker in the war-torn country of Ravka. In a strange turn of events, she finds out that she has powers that might just be strong enough to save her homeland. The heist subplot from Ketterdam brought an additional element of suspense and was a nice touch from a worldbuilding perspective. One of us has read the books and can confirm that it does them justice and more.
