As the month of September kicks off, Lincoln-Way Central has several exciting activities for students to look forward to during Homecoming Week. A NIGHT IN SPACE, is the theme this homecoming, and there are many opportunities for students to show some school spirit and have a good time. The week of homecoming, also known as Spirit Week, actually kicks off with the parade on the afternoon of Sunday, September 10th.  On Monday the 11th, through the 15th, many activities will help students get fired up for the football game against Lockport Township High School on Friday night. The ever-popular Homecoming Olympics will also be back this year on Monday evening.  This is an event that allows students to create teams and compete against classmates through crazy games and participation in Spirit Week for bragging rights.  Student Council also does a great job of bringing some fun to the AP room with theme-inspired decorations.  Monster Entertainment (the same company that is in charge of music for the dance) will even be stopping by!  The homecoming dance takes place Saturday September 16th in the field house at 7pm, and it’s sure to be a “knight” to remember.
